House Rules & Stay Details

We’re so glad you’ve chosen Eyrie VT for your Vermont getaway. To help make your stay seamless and relaxing, please take a moment to review our house guidelines below.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: 4:00 PM
  • Check-out: 11:00 AM
  • Lead time: Arrival must be at least 2 days from now
  • Quote expiration: 10 days
  • Availability window: Bookings accepted between 2 and 150 days in advance

Rental Agreement

An agreement suited to your stay will be automatically selected when you book. There are no redirects or additional steps needed — just confirmation and details in your inbox.

Payments & Cancellations

  • Accepted payments: All available methods are accepted.
  • First payment: 50% due at booking.
  • Second payment: Remaining balance due 15 days before arrival (auto-collected).
  • Offline payments: Checks accepted if arrival is 15+ days away.

Cancellation Policy

  • Free 24-hour grace period after booking (if arrival is at least 72 hours away)
  • 50% refund if cancelled 15+ days before arrival
  • No refunds within 15 days of arrival

If a booking remains unpaid, it will stay pending until payment is received. Check payments hold for 14 days before auto-cancellation.

Security Deposit

  • Hold amount: $300
  • Held: 2 days before arrival
  • Released: 7 days after departure

Guests will receive a reminder if a deposit hold isn’t automatically scheduled.

Occupancy & Suitability

  • Primary renter: Minimum age 21
  • Maximum guests: 8 total
  • Children: Welcome (up to 8 guests total)
  • Infants: Allowed

Pets

We’re happy to welcome one small, well-behaved dog (under 25 lbs). Please note:

  • No cats or other animals permitted
  • Pets must be house-trained and supervised at all times
  • Guests must clean up after their pet indoors and outdoors
  • Any damage or extra cleaning will be charged to the guest
  • Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding

Events & Smoking

  • Events: Not allowed
  • Smoking: Not permitted anywhere on the property

Stay Details

  • Arrival Day: Any day
  • Departure Day: Any day
  • Weekend Nights: Friday – Sunday
  • Minimum Stay: 2 nights (3 nights during holidays)
  • Changeover Gaps: No restrictions – back-to-back stays welcome
